Position Summary
As a Quality Engineer, you will be critical in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You will provide quality support across customer requests, manufacturing sites, and internal departments while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to define and implement quality requirements for their requests.
- Support customers with product quality-related tasks, including new product reliability, problem analysis, and performance data review.
- Assist manufacturing sites with process capability assessments, quality monitoring systems, statistical analysis, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate requirements for inspection and testing equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and manage procedures to ensure adherence to all contractual quality requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve quality documents, including manufacturing procedures, drawings and revisions, procurement specifications, and test procedures.
- Participate in customer and internal audits to uphold quality standards.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal departments, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, and Marketing/Contracts Administration.
- Provide guidance IATF16949 compliance and related industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and quality engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced quality techniques and practices.
- Proven experience in customer interaction and support.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods; experience in automotive, aerospace, medical, or military defense environments is a plus.
