What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Technician position at COIM USA INC?
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the R&D Manager or Applications manager in developing new products or modifying existing products and services for commercial applications based on customer, market, or technology needs both independently and within teams.
- Performs hands-on laboratory experiments, including synthesis of new polyester technology and applications of the new polyester technology in urethane applications
- Analyzes data appropriately including generating graphical representations, applying mathematical concepts, modeling, and relevant statistical analysis
- Documents pertinent findings in Laboratory notebook, issue of Technical Reports when necessary.
- Proactively communicates results and interpretations of data in a clear and concise manner
- Interfaces with sales, manufacturing, and technical service personnel to support the existing and new business.
- Conforms to the strict confidentiality policies of the company, as well as proper handling and an acute awareness of internal and external intellectual properties.
- Participates in all safety related activities and meetings.
- Performs above mentioned responsibilities safely, ethically and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
