What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Product Marketing Manager, Developer position at Coinbase Developer Platform?
We are looking for a strong PMM to lead the growth of our developer business. You will be responsible for building and driving the GTM strategy for Coinbase Developer Platform and related developer products. With a deep knowledge of the onchain developer audience and developer marketing tactics, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing pushes in our efforts to expand Coinbase’s brand in the developer ecosystem. This role is critical to the success of our growth ambitions.What you’ll be doing : Responsible for the development and execution of the Coinbase Developer Platform’s integrated marketing strategy and related developer-focused products and servicesBe the voice of the customer and trusted advisor as to how current and future clients’ needs inform product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and tacticsDevelop and lead successful product launches, developer activation / retention programs and marketing / GTM campaignsPartner closely with the business development and sales to develop compelling marketing collateral including event presentations, one-pagers, case studies, webinars, and websitesWork cross-functionally with product, business development, design, engineering, communications, and customer support to help build our customer pipeline and achieve world-class developer acquisition and retention ratesMeasure and report against the performance of product marketing initiativesThink big about the future of onchain and how we can bring developers onchain more quicklyWhat we look for in you : Minimum of 8 years of experience at leading product marketing for innovative developer-focused software companies, with at least 2 of those years within the onchain ecosystemFoundational expertise in software development fundamentals and a strong understanding of and passion for blockchain technologyAble to speak the language of onchain developers, from solo developers to mid-sized companiesPowerful storyteller : written, verbal, and visualDemonstrated track record of creating campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, build community, deepen engagement & retentionAdvanced quantitative and deductive skills.
