The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a key member of the HR team, providing support and counsel to managers for a wide variety of business initiatives including but not limited to employee relations, compensation, organizational development, leaves of absence, and recruiting. The HR Business Partner must be effective at building strong relationships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to support people initiatives aligned to growth and innovation including organizational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, and change management.
- Provide consultation, coaching, and guidance to people managers to build capability and a high-performance work culture focused on delivering results, nurturing relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention.
- Provide counsel and guidance to front line management on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Partner with HR leadership in conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Review and analyze business data to identify trends, influence action, and support decision making.
- Support Coinstar’s compensation programs, through job evaluations, market analyses, and ad hoc assignments.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks; partner with legal department as needed/required.
- Provide recruiting support on an as-needed basis.
- Administer employee engagement programs and platforms.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred, or the equivalent work experience.
- 3 years’ HR Business Partner/Generalist experience inclusive of working knowledge of recruiting, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws required, international and in-depth compensation experience desired.
- HRIS experience required; UltiPro experience a plus.
- PHR/SPHR or equivalent a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office

Location and Business Travel
- This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Bellevue, WA. Work from home arrangements are welcome within the Greater Seattle area.
- This position requires little to no business travel.
Pay and Benefits
For this role, new hires generally start between $100,952 - $126,189. For Washington State or jurisdictions that require the publication of salary ranges, the base salary range for this position is $100,952 - $151,427. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Short-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment.
