General Description
While working on the cooler remanufacturing process, assist in the continued operation of the Body Shop’s daily operation. This role will be responsible for completing daily orders, training, and Quality Control
The overall duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the Company Safety Policy.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel.
Assist in writing and reviewing existing and new SOPs.
Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and process.
Troubleshoot and investigate production and quality issues.
Report unusual conditions or circumstances to supervisor.
Managing supply and inventory levels.
Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Multitask while assisting team members as needed.
Requirements/skills Desired
Follow all Company Safety Rules
Ability to read, speak and write English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Attention to detail.
Ability to operate manual hand pallet jack.
Follow direction of team leadership
Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills.
Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
Computer experience.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, twist, reach, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
