EVENT BROADCAST TECHNICIAN- COKEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Event Broadcast Technician to oversee the live streaming and recording of concerts, musicals, and home sporting events. This role is crucial in ensuring that students, families, and community members can experience performances and games, regardless of their physical location. By providing high-quality broadcasts, this position will help extend the reach of our events and strengthen community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment for live streaming and recording of concerts, musicals, and home sporting events.
- Ensure high-quality audio and video transmission for an optimal viewing experience.
- Manage streaming platforms and social media to broadcast events effectively.
- Coordinate with event organizers, performers, and coaches to schedule and plan broadcasts.
- Perform post-event tasks such as uploading recordings and archiving content for future viewing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during live events to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain and organize broadcasting equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with live streaming, video production, or audio-visual technology preferred.
- Familiarity with streaming platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or other broadcasting services.
- Basic knowledge of cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed, based on the event schedule.
