Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of beverages. Your expertise in mixology and customer service will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with guests to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments through the POS system, and manage tabs for customers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages effectively.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest engagement.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or banquet settings while maintaining composure under pressure.
