Position Summary:
The Operations Manager will lead end-to-end production activities, ensuring quality, compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, optimizing supply chains, implementing quality assurance processes, and driving operational improvements through Lean methodologies. This role also emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise production, assembly, and service teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Manage procurement of materials, production schedules, and vendor relationships to meet delivery timelines.
- Enforce compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, FDA, and CE/UL standards.
- Develop quality control procedures and lead audits to resolve non-conformance issues.
- Implement Lean practices to address bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and manage budgets while analyzing financial data for cost optimization.
- Represent the company at trade shows and with clients during production updates.
- Ensure workplace safety and conduct training sessions.
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of experience in operations management within automation, life sciences, or manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in budget management, KPI monitoring, and process optimization.
- Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or Operations Management preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- Travel: 15–30% for trade shows, client visits, and product installations.
- Work Environment: Combination of office and active mechanical assembly shop settings.
