Starting union rate is $18.79

Job Summary
Operate crushing plant and material handling equipment at our Lippert aggregate location efficiently and safely. This is a union position.
Starting union rate is $18.79
Main Responsibilities
- Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment
- Complete daily inspection and maintenance checklist
- Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
- Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements
- Perform routing maintenance and any necessary equipment repairs as needed
- Responsible for timely reporting of incidents and accidents to supervisor
- Responsible to inform Plant Superintendent or Managers of any potential safety hazards
- Ability to operate equipment efficiently
- Able to communicate supervisors and peers
- Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Independent worker as well as being a strong team member
- Adaptable to changing conditions
- Able to perform some heavy lifting
- Welding and fabricating experience preferred
- Experience working at heights
- Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Employee will stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Able to use of arms, hands, fingers and legs for extended periods of time
- Will be required to lift and handle objects
