Job Description
Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Heavy Equipment Operator based out of Macon, GA . The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to Reeves Construction Company safety programs to ensure a safe work environment
- Monitor all steps of the operation to ensure Standard Quality and Operating Practices and guidelines are being followed
- Knowledge of how to operate a Bulldozer, Excavator, Loader, or Motor Grader
- Spread dirt in fill areas, finish dress to plan specifications, load material from stockpiles or excavations, finish grade with a loader, experience with material handling
- GPS machine control knowledge
- Backfill trenches / excavations
- Apply caution digging around underground utilities and overhead wire
- Ability to assist with the maintenance and normal operating adjustment to the equipment
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
