Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to support our team of mechanics and ensure smooth operations in our shop. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical experience, a clean driving record, and a valid CDL Class A license. This role involves assisting mechanics, running errands, transporting equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in the shop.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with various tasks throughout the shop, including equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct part runs to suppliers or distributors as needed.
- Transport equipment and tools to different job sites, particularly during the peak summer season.
- Ensure the shop is clean and organized, including work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Help staff with miscellaneous tasks to support shop operations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations while operating company vehicles.
