Job Summary :
Operates a variety of heavy equipment, vehicles, and tooling used in construction and / or plant production activities.
This position will spend 50% of the time in Cheyenne, Wy and 50% of the time in Laramie, Wy.
Main Responsibilities :
- Embrace the Company's safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
- Support, promote, and practice the Company core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace conduct, safety, and other established policies
- Observe safety procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly
- Operate heavy equipment, including, but not limited to, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, and other mobile equipment used in completion of construction projects and / or in support of production operations
- Operate other tools and equipment as required for assigned tasks
- Perform minor equipment maintenance tasks, including but not limited to as greasing and checking oil and fluids
- Drive company vehicles to worksites and company locations when authorized
