What You’ll Be Doing Every Day
Your role as is to provide overall management of the therapy program at your facility, ensuring efficient operations and excellent outcomes, while maintaining productivity as a treating therapist. Additionally, you will:
- Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards
- Review admissions, schedules, and MDS assessment period/data
- Ensure the delivery of quality services and/or outcomes required to meet or exceed the maximum functional improvement through the delivery of our skilled therapy services.
- Serve as a staff mentor, overseeing and evaluating care delivered
- Clarify performance expectations, address skill gaps, and resolve conflicts
- Assist developing clinical programs to support quality of care initiatives
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
You Will Be Able To Demonstrate Composure, Customer Focus, Patience, And The Ability To Gain Trust And Establish Rapport With Residents And Your Team. In Addition, You Will Have
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in physical, occupational, or speech therapy. Preference will be given to Physical Therapists.
- Currently Registered/licensed in Colorado and maintains requirements to practice in CO
- Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in long-term care or related setting required.
- Previous leadership and management experience is highly preferred.
