Role Description:
Cold Bore Technology is seeking a Shop Technician to join our growing team in Odessa, TX and help make our new shop fully operational. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily administration of the shop, performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the shop and field equipment, supporting our field personnel as required, and promoting a safety culture in the workplace. Working in a fast-paced team environment, this role requires a self-motivated individual with a high degree of collaboration. Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and organization of field equipment in shop setting.
- Preparation of equipment requiring Lab testing.
- Field kit preparation for deployment.
- Shipping and receiving of equipment between districts and field, including documentation.
- Cleaning and maintenance of field & shop equipment.
- Shop organization and workstation maintenance.
- Update and maintain Maintenance & Repair logs for equipment worked on.
- Occasional field deliveries.
- Asset tracking and identification within internal software system.
- Provide technical and/or functional support to field personnel as required in shop.
Requirements:
- Oilfield experience and knowledge of Frac and Completions operations considered an asset.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge working with data.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong people skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid safety tickets – see HSSE requirements below.
- Flexibility of working hours.
- Forklift experience considered an asset.
HSSE Requirements:
- Successfully completing the Cold Bore safety orientation upon hire.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with acceptable driving record and ability to drive company vehicles.
- SafeLand USA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
