About the Company:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to maintain/optimize the company’s ERP/EDI systems and related operations processes that will allow our business to operate at a highly consistent and effective level.
Pay range and compensation package:
Negotiable based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Deep familiarity with the Automotive industry, manufacturing environment, and business processes.
- Understanding of ERP and EDI (preferably iCARaS) and other information flow protocols.
- Work with Production Control, Receiving, Shipping, Sales, and Accounting to ensure a seamless information flow and timely issue resolution to minimize operational disruption.
- Build processes that support the growth of the business by simplifying or streamlining cross-functional operations.
- Understand existing and potential limitations as well as opportunities in the company’s operating procedures.
- Utilize the understanding and knowledge to recommend complex changes or make simple changes to the enterprise business systems.
- Seek out and drive improvements in information flows and integrations and review the recommendations with the Internal Operations team.
- Create functional design, develop a detailed user acceptance test, and execute the test to ensure the successful Production rollout, coordinating with the internal teams and vendors.
- Ensure controlled access and integrity of data in our ERP/EDI and other integrated systems.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
BA/BS degree with 7 years of IT, systems, business process, operations, vendor management, and business consulting or similar analytical roles.
High aptitude for analyzing complex problems, identifying issues at the root level, and developing solution recommendations.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects of a wide breadth with guidance.
Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Create processes to efficiently and effectively onboard new EDI-based trading partners.
- Update and maintain connections and setup for existing trading partners.
- Create and modify labels according to the specifications provided by our trading partners.
