A postdoctoral position in computational neuroscience / machine learning is available in Dr. David Klindt's research group at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), NY.
We are looking for outstanding candidates with prior experience in machine learning and, ideally, computational neuroscience. The position involves both specific projects and general research leveraging methods from machine learning, computer vision, and computational neuroscience to better understand complex systems such as neural networks, brain function, and molecular shapes. Candidates are expected to have the skills and expertise to hit the ground running in research. - Position Requirements
* PhD in Computational Neuroscience, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Neuroscience, or a related quantitative discipline.
* Proven programming skills and experience with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
* At least one publication in top-tier machine learning or AI conferences/journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, AAAI, or similar).
* Strong interest or prior experience in collaborating with experimentalists.

The salary range or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
