As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing desserts that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for baking, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** - Prepare and decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for special occasions, restaurants, and retail stores - Ensure all baked goods are prepared in a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to food safety regulations - Use a variety of decorating techniques, including piping, fondant, and cake painting - Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and knives - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils - Package and store baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation - Collaborate with other members of the bakery team to ensure efficient production and quality control - Provide excellent customer service and work effectively with customers and other stakeholders - Participate in the development of new and innovative cake decorating designs and techniques **Qualifications** - Strong background in baking and cake decorating - Experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a bakery or restaurant setting - Knowledge of food safety and handling practices - Proficiency in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant, and cake painting - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Strong communication and customer service skills - Certification in food safety or a related field is preferred.
