Duties
- Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors using high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ice cream production area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate equipment such as ice cream machines, mixers, and other kitchen tools efficiently and safely.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about our products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in promotional activities and sales initiatives to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in café settings is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
