Colder’s is looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Merchandising Intern to support our marketing and merchandising teams in maintaining and optimizing our online product catalog. This role focuses on building, maintaining, optimizing and troubleshooting our ecommerce product catalog. You will work very closely with the marketing and merchandising team to ensure that product lineup aligns with timely promotions, new product releases, and overall sales strategies to create a seamless online shopping experience. This is a part-time, in-person position at our West Allis location. Full-time opportunities may be available based on business needs. The Ecommerce Merchandising Intern will report to the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain product listings on the website, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Ensure new products are added to the website as they are introduced on the sales floor, with priority given to marketing-committed items.
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising and sales teams to align website content with promotions and sales strategies.
- Communicate with third-party agencies to coordinate major catalog updates and merchandising initiatives.
- Assist in managing online catalogs, ensuring product categories and filters enhance the shopping experience.
- Support in implementing ecommerce best practices based on team strategy.
- Maintain and update project management charts to track website merchandising tasks, ensuring timely execution and team alignment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving product data or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an associate’s degree in business, merchandising, marketing, or a related field OR previous experience in merchandising, administrative work, or ecommerce.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency with computers
- Familiarity with retail inventory systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (like Shopify or BigCommerce) is a plus.
