Hours: Average of 20-25 hours per week
JOB SUMMARY: As the Housekeeping Assistant, you will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to:
· Standard weekly and seasonal cleaning and laundering
· Resetting rooms/houses during customer visits
· Thorough cleaning and laundering after customer visits
· Frequent meal preparation and occasional baking
· Other housekeeping duties at all Coldspring guest houses in Minnesota
· Occasional meetings set up and clean up, sometimes at off-site locations
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
· Attention to detail; ensuring all houses are thoroughly cared for and inspected according to Coldspring standards
· Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance and safety
· Maintain confidentiality and integrity
· Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and equipment, techniques, and methods
· Must be a reliable team player
· Must be customer-oriented and friendly
· Good listening and communication skills
· Must be able to adapt to any situation
· Creative in planning and organizing
· Must have high energy, physical stamina, and mobility
· Knowledge of the English language
· Must pass a background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
· Previous housekeeping experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Will have exposure to outdoor and indoor elements
· Climbing of steps
· Ability to lift, push and/or pull required load (average 30 lbs)
EDUCATION
· A High School diploma or equivalent is required
