ColdTech Refrigeration is a prominent Intermountain West commercial refrigeration and HVAC service provider. We install, service and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and hot equipment assets for grocery stores, hotels, convenience stores, restaurants, school districts and warehouses. ABOUT THE JOB:
- The Service Dispatcher will play a key role in supporting the field staff as well as administration team.
- This person will be well-rounded as the dispatcher is a member of our office staff dispatching service techs daily.
- In addition to dispatching, they are a critical role in helping keep the office running smoothly.
- At times they may be asked to help support the phones when they’re ringing off the hook or help a walk-in customer with their needs.

- The below responsibilities are some of the things this position will partner with those in the office, to ensure our customers are taken care of and our field techs are setup for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Very dependable
- Take service calls from commercial, and industrial clients.
- Monitor emails for service calls, and customer communication.
- Schedule service and maintenance calls for commercial, and industrial clients. Schedule repairs.
- Complete and close work orders.
- Process workorder paperwork with third party vendors, save and forward on to appropriate next in line team member to obtain quote.
- Work with technicians and/or sales team to prepare repair quotes.
- Assist technicians in ordering parts and issuing POs as needed.
- Track parts for open work orders.
- Enter new customer information as well as updating current customer information.
- Schedule maintenance.
- Assist technicians with pricing of repairs for residential jobs.
- Prepare technicians to be out of the shop in a timely manner in the mornings.
- Work closely with the job coordinator to organize manpower.
- Back up support to office administration team.
- Monitor workload, communicate personnel needs with management.
- Process time off requests/enter information into company calendar (for field staff).
- Work with third parties to ensure that service work orders are completed on time and within the budget given.
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
- Monitor the route and status of technicians to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
- Provide customers with information about orders, appointments, etc.
- Enter information and maintain data within the computer system as far as call logs, activities, etc.
