Position Summary
The Irrigation Team Member will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the irrigation duties for the installation and maintenance divisions. This role is also responsible for ensuring positive client experiences and upholding the mission, vision, and values of the company.
Responsibilities:

Oversees the completion of work assigned by the Account and Production Managers. This work may include but is not limited to:
- Prioritizing emergency projects or repairs.
- Understanding and effectively using different types of technologies to track work progress or properly maintain resources. Posting job updates in company software.
- Diagnosing and repairing irrigation problems as needed or during new installation projects and working with the Production Manager to troubleshoot.
- Repairing issues with irrigation on limited warranty customers that are covered under limited warranty.
- Installing and programming new irrigation controllers and overseeing quality control of each controller installed.
- Using company software and iPad to properly record irrigation plans to build as-built drawings to be shared with homeowners and to be used as information guides for future projects.
- Completing irrigation assessments as needed on all maintenance properties and updating the irrigation assessment form to submit to the Account Manager.
- Communicating any needed irrigation repairs to clients on all maintenance contracts.
- Upselling or proposing irrigation products and services to current and new clients to meet the monthly sales goals.

Assists and works closely with different management teams on a variety of administrative tasks or projects. This work may include but is not limited to:
- Assisting the Production Manager on irrigation layout and installations.
- Working closely with the Production Manager to teach field team members the best practices and proper irrigation techniques.
- Consulting the Account Manager or Production Manager when ordering irrigation material to be installed.
- Assisting the Account Manager and Project Manager with irrigation design and estimating as needed.
- Working in unison with the Warranty Manager through the limited warranty period to ensure clean handoff to non-maintenance clients.

Completes irrigation-required tasks to maintain proper equipment levels and proper functions. This work may include but is not limited to:
- Monitoring all newly installed irrigation programs and adjusting watering as needed, based on weather conditions or other factors.
- Reviewing the monthly inventory of maintenance irrigation supplies and working closely with the Production Manager or Project Manager to place orders for any equipment needed.
Environment
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, climb, and kneel and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. This position is occasionally exposed to all weather conditions, but primarily performed seated in an environmentally controlled environment. Physical hazards such as noise, fumes, and dirt are occasionally present due to the equipment. This position requires frequent local, day travel.

Qualifications:
The following education, skills, and experience are preferred for this role:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- 2-3 years of experience in landscape maintenance.
- 3-5 years of management experience.
- Experience with estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Basic measurement and calculation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Broad knowledge of horticulture and landscape construction.
- Basic knowledge of materials and labor costs.
- Proficient in technology and software skills.
- Adaptable with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, spoken and written, internally and externally.
- Must have a driver’s license, along with a good driving record, and have familiarity with the tools and equipment of the trade.
