Job Title: Team Member-Landscapes

Reports to: Production Manager

Position Summary

The Landscape Team Member is responsible for executing a variety of physical landscaping tasks as directed by the Team Leader, utilizing an array of tools and equipment to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

1. Completes all job duties and tasks assigned by the Team Leader. This work may include but is not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation of job sites before the beginning of a project.

Safely operating various tools and equipment, including chainsaws, jackhammers, laser

levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, and drills.

• Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete.
• Assisting in the construction of walkways, fences, decks, and posts.
• Performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections,

lubricating, and cleaning daily.

• Digging ditches or trenches.
• Performing land clearing activities manually or with heavy equipment.
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape

construction projects.

• Transporting materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying.
• Assisting Team Leader with job-related tasks.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to perform work

activities.

• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Complying with all company policies and regulations

Environment

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, climb, and kneel and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. This position is regularly exposed to all weather conditions. Physical hazards such as noise, fumes, and dirt are present due to the equipment. This position routinely uses heavy machinery and lawn tools. This position requires local, day travel.
