The Branch Office Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, operations, and profitability of their
designated Branch Office. They will drive the achievement of company goals through effective leadership and
coordination.
The Sales Manager will foster a professional and positive environment, ensuring that both the office team and the
public view the branch as a reputable and professional entity. This includes setting the tone for the Sales Associates in
terms of attitude, conduct, and image.
The Branch Office Sales Manager will work closely with their team to ensure both personal and company success
through strong leadership, accountability, and consistent development efforts.
OFFICE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Drive Office Goals: Align office goals with company objectives. Develop business plans and conduct quarterly
reviews with the appropriate Vice President or Regional Vice President.
- Motivate and Support Agents: Encourage agents to achieve maximum production and morale. Provide regular
feedback and assist agents with setting and reviewing goals.
- Conduct Sales Meetings: Hold regularly scheduled informational and motivational meetings, relevant to market
trends and industry changes. Ensure meetings are engaging, include recognition of agent achievements, and
promote company culture.
- Support Inexperienced Agents: Help new agents build their businesses quickly while ensuring compliance and
competence.
- Manage Office Operations: Oversee and control all daily Branch Sales Office operations.
- Encourage Participation: Promote involvement in REALTOR® Board/Association functions and educational
seminars to enhance agents' professional growth.
- Maximize Agent Productivity: Encourage agents to secure quality listings, effectively market and negotiate
properties, and work with qualified buyers to secure their next property.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed on local and macro market conditions and trends. Maintain regular contact
with a disciplined database of past clients.
- Recruitment and Retention: Continuously recruit, interview, and select quality agents to ensure organic growth
and replace departing agents.
- Referral Management: Manage and assign incoming referrals to the appropriate Sales Associates.
- Agent Support and Counseling: Provide guidance, counseling, and direction to the sales force, addressing
concerns, suggestions, and goals.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain records of monthly sales, prospects, listings, and financial analysis.
Submit accurate reports as required.
- Office Training: Assist Sales Associates with office orientation and procedures.
- Supervise Office Admin: Oversee Office Admin duties including attendance, accuracy, work ethic, morale, and
adherence to company workflows. Ensure timecards are accurate and advise leadership on any performance or
attendance issues.
- Performance Reviews and Employee Relations: Lead and manage annual reviews, quarterly check-ins, and
foster a positive work environment for the betterment of the office(s).
- Adherence to Company Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for Sales Associates,
staff, and management.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on market activity and conditions. Propose innovative sales ideas,
methods, and techniques to enhance office performance.
- Professionalism and Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership, set high standards, and maintain a positive
attitude at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Real Estate Broker License required
- Strong understanding of the real estate industry and all state and national Fair Housing and real estate laws to
ensure compliance
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and understand documents and to communicate with agents and other staff members in a
courteous and professional manner
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Basic Accounting knowledge

Ability to define the problem, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion to solve the problem and plan
initiatives
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- A driver’s license is required
