Position Overview
Candidate will provide comprehensive hardware/software support at our Help Desk and Integration Lab, while also conducting Site Surveys for the U.S. Army's Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer (RVCT) Program. This role includes a range of technical maintenance tasks to ensure the seamless functioning and deployment of the U.S. Army's RVCT devices.
Required Experience/Qualifications
Lab Tech:
In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and a Secret security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
Candidate must be willing to travel as required (up to 50%) both domestically and internationally.

Required Experience/Qualifications
Lab Tech:
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and working with hand tools.
- Support lab test events with transportation, system set up, tear down and diagnostics of necessary systems
- Conduct Start Up and Power Down sequences using known best practices and proprietary diagnostics tools.
- Conduct routine PMCS, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance.
- Maintain up-to-date lab inventory and other relative logistics tasks.
- Conduct troubleshooting of integration and development systems enacting repairs in real time.
- Ability to precisely collect, report, preserve data in real time while enacting repairs.
- Travel to various locations as sole technician during demonstrations and customer events.
- Be available to communicate with customer sites, walking them through complex issues utilizing provided wiring and parts diagrams as well as provided TM’s and learned system knowledge.
- Be able to consistently capture relative data from the customer on current and ongoing issue and precisely transcribe all data into Jira using customer provided and provided system data.
- Be willing to travel to site to manage more complex fixes, retrofits, updates, and interface with the customer.
- Capable of traveling to U.S. military training sites both CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) to conduct detailed assessments of the training sites and facilities, determining their suitability for the deployment of RVCT devices.
- Gather and document site-specific requirements, capturing data on existing infrastructure to ensure each site meets all requirements for the fielding of RVCT devices. If a site does not meet the requirements, provide recommendations to bring it into compliance.
- Ability to transcribe all collected data clearly and concisely into a Training Facility Report (TFR) that will be provided to the government customer and end user facility to convey required facility updates needed to properly accept and operate the delivered systems.
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Strong knowledge and use of simple and complex hand tools i.e., Drills and Soldering Irons
- Strong electrical/networking diagnostics tools i.e., multi-meter and network tracers
- Ability to read parts and electrical wiring diagrams
- 3-5 Years Military Simulation Experience; or similar.
- Bachelor of Science Degree; can be substituted for military experience or technical education
- Military Aviation/Avionics/Electrical background
- Experience as Field Service Technician
- Prior Experience with Military Simulators
- Networking Experience
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Certification in Security , A , and/or Network
