Job Summary :

The PM will lead a program team in support of the capture and execution of a Next Generation simulation environment that provides operational training, analysis, wargaming, and experimentation capability along with modernization support to the government customer. This effort will utilize Agile processes to build a collaborative team between government leadership, users at echelon, and the development team. PM will provide overarching leadership and direction of all program activities and personnel. PM will act as the primary interface to the customer and ensure overarching program success.

Position location is Orlando, FL, with components of the team in multiple CONUS / OCONUS locations.

Essential Job Functions :

  • The PM is responsible for the overall contract, to include :
  • Leading a dynamic effort and collaborative team across the entire Army intelligence community
  • Supervising personnel (CESI & subcontractors)
  • Developing and executing project schedules
  • Producing financial and technical reports showing project status to customers and company leadership
  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team, tracking status and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Acting as the single point of contact for all customer reporting, issues or concerns
  • Performing horizontal integration planning and execution activities
  • Interfacing frequently with other corporate functional areas such as subcontracts, project control, and support personnel
  • Ensuring technical solutions and schedules are implemented effectively and efficiently throughout the program
  • Overseeing the development, testing, documentation, fielding and support of complex cyber and IT training systems and equipment
  • Ensuring the highest quality of task completion, meeting contractual performance criteria and deliverables in accordance with the contract
  • Responsible for developing long-term and strategic objectives to help ensure that end user requirements will be satisfied in future years of the contract

Required Skills :

  • Experience with planning, estimating, organizing, staffing and executing projects at scale, including multiple, distributed teams.
  • Experience staffing and managing teams that include both an onsite and remote workforce
  • Experience with organizing and coordinating the planning and production of client deliveries.
  • Experience with meeting and completing tasks assignments within estimated periods and budget constraints.
  • Experience with applying quality assurance measures to improve contract performance.
  • Experience with Agile based development approaches
  • Must have demonstrated success in all phases of acquisition management (scheduling, risk management, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration), and experience as an effective manager of teams comprised of diverse professional, technical and support personnel.
  • Ability to operate independently without extensive supervision.
  • Ability to establish an effective working relationship with senior-level customers, technical staff, managers and peers.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with a demonstrated capability to coordinate and align efforts between government customers, senior executives, subcontractors and team members.
  • Must be able to assess and enhance the performance of task leaders, team members, and support personnel, and processes that are being used
  • Must be able to understand multi-level customer / user expectations and concerns, and to assure customer(s) that the program is being managed effectively.
  • Experienced leadership that drives both organic and new business development, as well as a full understanding of strategic capture management.
  • Experienced knowledge of Federal Government acquisition processes including FAR, DID, CDRLS, etc.
  • Required Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree required, and advanced degree / studies preferred
  • Experience with battalion through National level exercises within a multi-national environment.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex, projects and programs for the federal government.
  • Special Requirements / Security Clearance :

    In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status and ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
