Position Overview : The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions to meet the organization’s needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in networking concepts, practical experience with industry-standard equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. The candidate must be able to perform well on simulated lab scenarios to demonstrate working knowledge of the required networking concepts.
Required Experience / Qualifications :
- Design, configure, and manage complex IPsec tunnel implementations, with expertise in Palo Alto and Cisco equipment.
- Develop and maintain a robust understanding of the OSI model and apply this knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize network performance.
- Configure and manage Layer 1 and Layer 2 switching concepts, leveraging Cisco and Juniper equipment.
- Support, configure, and troubleshoot Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to ensure reliable and secure data routing.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to safeguard organizational assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop network strategies and address technical challenges.
- Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and development.
