Position Overview : Assist in the design and development of a large-scale distributed simulation system using an existing simulation framework in an Agile development environment. This includes development of physical and behavioral models and user interfaces. Implement interfaces between this system and military C2 systems and other simulations in accordance with published standards. Responsibilities include : Full lifecycle software development to include software requirements analysis, software design, software implementation, software integration and test, and system documentation. This position may also require limited travel and on-site support to the user community.

Essential Job Functions :

• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software code, with duties to write and update software code under contract and direction from contractor and government management
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Provide improvements to existing software programs as necessary
• Design and develop unit and other tests
• Comply with, and participate in, program software development processes and practices. This includes meaningful participation in Agile development process events such as scrums and sprint reviews
• Operate collaboratively in a development team environment

Special Requirements / Security Clearance :

In accordance with the specifications of a government contract, eligibility for this position mandates U.S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. The precise security clearance requisites will be detailed in the Government's Task Order.
