Compensation:
- Three performance reviews in first year, then annually.
- Two company-sponsored retirement plans.
- Possible sign-on bonus ranging from $500 to $3000.
- Overtime as needed/approved.
- Monthly GainShare in good months. ($1,150 paid to each Full-time hourly staff in 2024)
Here is how a Service Technician contributes to our team:
- Perform machine diagnosis and minor repairs at customer locations.
- Perform in-depth machine repairs in our well-equipped shop.
Responsibilities & Job Description
- Four-day work week possible or Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for approved overtime.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required
- Customer Service focused person with experience, or ability to train, to perform service repairs on various types of commercial floor cleaning equipment / Laundry Ware Wash equipment for schools/universities and healthcare facilities, such as floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, sweepers, vacuums, etc.
- Vehicle, tools, and training are provided.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prefer applicant to have experience in repairs.
- Must be efficient, computer proficient and an excellent communicator.
- Ability to communicate successfully, pleasantly, and politely with customers, manufacturers, sale representatives and internal staff.
- Training provided on the job and at manufacturer locations.
- Electrical and plumbing knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Laundry Ware Wash procedural knowledge preferred.
- Some heaving lifting may be required.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check required.
