Job Duties

• Instructs kindergarten through 5th grade technology classes.
• Prepares course objectives and outlines for course of study following the established school Curriculum Guide.
• Integrates Biblical truths and the Christian philosophy of education throughout the curriculum.
• Plans a program of study that as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Employs a variety of instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives.
• Assesses the performance of students on a regular basis and provides progress and attendance reports as required.
• Develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure and maintains proper discipline and order in the classroom and on the school premises.
• Counsel’s pupils when behavioral and academic problems arise.
• Keeps students, parents and the administration adequately informed of progress or deficiencies.
• Advocate for Teachers: Serves as a bridge between educators and technology, ensuring teachers have the tools, resources, and confidence to enhance instruction with technology.
• Support & Coach: Works alongside teachers to model, co-teach, and provide hands-on support for integrating digital tools in ways that promote student engagement and academic growth
• Resource Development: Curates and share best practices, digital tools, and instructional resources that align with curriculum goals and support diverse learning needs.
• Problem-Solving Partner: Offer just-in-time support and troubleshooting assistance, helping teachers navigate challenges and maximize the impact of technology in their classrooms.

• A demonstrated ability in the gift of classroom teaching which includes the following areas:
• Seamless biblical worldview integration
• Relating to elementary aged students while holding them accountable
• Engagement strategies that take advantage of multiple classroom settings
• Lesson and unit planning, organization, and calendar management
• Balanced and effective classroom management
• Differentiated instruction to meet different learning styles
• Integration of technology as a tool for student learning
• Technical Competency: Ability to navigate Microsoft applications and online tools.
• Experience or knowledge in technology or education technology.
• Classroom training, coursework and/or experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in education.
• Idaho State teaching certificate, or ability to obtain.
• ACSI teaching certificate, or ability to obtain.
  
  

Job Data

• Hours: Full-Time
• Salary: Teacher salary schedule starts at $39,000 per year. Actual salary depends on experience and education.
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and retirement plan.
• Paid Time Off - In addition to all school-observed holidays, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, and Spring break, position receives 5 paid personal days, 9 paid sick days, and 3 days bereavement leave per school year.
• Tuition Discount: 50% discount on tuition. Does not include fees.
• Starting Date: August 2025
