What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programmer position at Coleman American Companies, Inc?
Job Summary:
The Programmer will work on software development projects as needed for the company, primarily using Microsoft and Workday development platforms and tools.
Essential Functions:
- Create, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications, processes, and reports as needed
- Work with other developers to ensure code is standardized and cohesive
- Ensure code, intellectual property, and other programming assets are documented and securely stored using agreed upon best practices
- Work with management, other team members, and users to determine business needs/requirements
- Facilitate and/or program import and export routines to exchange data with appropriate systems and parties
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Competence with languages, environments, and platforms including, but not limited to Visual Studio, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, T-SQL, Azure, Git, Workday
- Competence with Microsoft SQL Server database management tools and environments
- Competence of data security methods/practices
- Competence of web service technologies
- Knowledge of business hardware, software, and networks
Required Education and Experience:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting Information Systems or equivalent
- Preferred: Any applicable certifications
