What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Coleman Equipment, Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Perform field service repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment, residential and commercial
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve equipment problems
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
- Proficient in stick welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, and logic controllers
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Experience in fabricating and welding metal components is a plus
- Familiarity with Kubota equipment is a must
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
