What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician - Canton, OH position at Coleman Health Services?
Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We areseeking a dependable individual to work with people experiencing mental health issues in our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). This position is located in Stark County, Ohio.
Available Shifts:
- FT Midnights (7P-7A)
Responsibilities include being able to work with a team for best treatment options, coordinating admissions and discharges, meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness of the unit, and providing ongoing support/education for the clients we serve, and their families as needed. High school diploma is required. Must have and maintain excellent driving record. Experience in crisis intervention preferred. Prefer someone with a BA in related field experience in the mental health field. Candidates will be expected to complete a drug screening, BCI and FBI check within 48 hours of an offer of employment.
