Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our assigned locations. This position requires a proactive approach to prevent incidents, respond to emergencies, and ensure the protection of personnel and property.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, including CCTV surveillance, to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
• Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for review by management.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure comprehensive security measures are upheld.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or conflict management training is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is advantageous for monitoring activities effectively.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions in emergency situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
