Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist
We are seeking a Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist to provide peer support services in Stark County, Ohio, as a member of the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Team.

Job Summary
This role provides guidance, hope, and support towards recovery through personal experience and growth on a reciprocal basis. Multiple shifts are available for a flexible schedule.
Duties
- Mentor and assist youth and families through mental health crises and restore calm within the family.
- Assist in identifying resources, supports, and services based on youth and family needs.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Team to further support youth and families throughout the stabilization and transition phases.
- Function as part of an interdisciplinary team and develop and maintain effective relationships with community professionals.
Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be certified as a Family/Parent Peer Support Specialist through the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services or be willing to obtain this certification.
- Have lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a child who has been involved with behavioral healthcare services.
- Have and maintain an excellent driving record.
- Be willing to complete and have favorable results for a criminal background check, drug screening, and driving check if selected for the position.
