Coleman is seeking an exceptional social work and/or counseling individual to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in our Stark County, Ohio, office.Workdays Monday – Friday with No Weekends! This individual will meet with new clients who will be staying in the CSU on a short-term basis and explore treatment goals with each client. In addition, this person will provide individual and multiple group therapy sessions daily.
Qualifications of Crisis Stabilization Unit Counselor:
- Must have excellent skills in diagnostic assessment, risk assessments, and counseling
- Must have Master’s degree with LPC or LSW, LPCC or LISW with LCDC preferred (would need CAQH account)
- Clinical supervision provided to candidates needing supervision hours toward independent counselor licensure (LPCC)
- NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
- Experience working SPMI, SMD and AOD adult population
- Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check, drug screening, and driving check if selected for the position
