The Real Estate Closer is responsible for communicating with the buyer, lender and real estate agent if there is one. The closer will balance figures with lenders and sign all documents on closing day. Record all the necessary documents and move file to post closing.
Description
Qualified candidates will:
- Understanding the contents described in title commitments, lien searches and surveys
- Knowledge of preparing title documents for closing, such as Deeds and affidavits, etc.
- Knowledge of preparing Closing Disclosures, Settlement Statements and balance sheets/disbursement ledgers
- Order title searches, municipal lien searches, HOA Estoppels, payoffs and surveys (when needed)
- Communicating via phone and emails with lenders, real estate agents and customers.
- Able to handle a moderate to high case load of files and work well with others in the office.
- Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Closers’ Choice closing software are strongly desired but willing to train.
- Serve as an escrow officer, which includes the receipt and disbursement of funds
- Review all files before, during and after the closings to prevent and resolve any potential issues/claims
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Familiarity with phone systems
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office software preferred
