CNC Lead - Second Shift

Job Details:

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, scheduled overtime on Fridays
• Coleys is a climate-controlled facility

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involved in setup, production, and maintenance of CNC horizontal/vertical milling and turning centers
• Skilled in the use of a variety of CNC machining tools and precision measuring devices to produce parts to customer specifications, including post-run responsibilities such as deburring
• Read and edit programs to ensure parts are ran to print
• Understand and interpret blueprints, sketches, or other descriptions of parts to be machined from selected materials
• Ability to delegate and knowledge of supervisory techniques, personnel policies, and procedures

Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
• Ability to read and work from sketches, specifications, and blueprints
• Ability to determine work priorities and delegate work to others
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Working knowledge of machine shop equipment, tools, and precision measuring devices
• Ability to read/edit programs
