What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver position at Colfax Nursing and Rehab?
Colfax Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable transportation driver to join our team. The individual will provide non emergent transportation for our residents to and from hospitals, doctor appointments, dialysis and recreational outings. You will ensure that all residents reach their destinations in a safe timely manner. This means ensuring that passengers are safely strapped in his or her seatbelt/or wheelchair safety belts.
Duties:
- Transporting residents using a company vehicle.
- Operating vehicle in a safe manner.
- Assisting resident safely inside and outside of vehicle applying safety straps.
- Reporting any incidents or accidents to supervisor.
- Operating wheelchair lift in safe manner.
- Completing vehicle pre-trip safety inspections.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures for transporting residents.
Requirments:
- Must be 25 years or older
- Obtain a CDL class C or D
- Pass background check
- Pass Motor Vehicle Report
