GSC 2023 Associate Development program
Do you want to work for the #1 Global Supply Chain? Colgate-Palmolive/ Hill's Pet Nutrition/ Tom's of Maine is welcoming applications for our 2023 Global Supply Chain Associate Development Program. Candidates selected for this exciting opportunity will get maximum exposure to the business, Supply Chain and leadership through assignments in different areas of Supply Chain (Category Supply Chain: Engineering/Manufacturing/Network Operations, Procurement and Customer Service & Logistics). The length of the program is approximately 24 months before final placement into a full time position within the Global Supply Chain. Associates will have the opportunity to network and gain exposure and experiences that are unique to each assignment. By participating in this comprehensive program, you will learn:
Plant Environmental Occupational Health and Safety, Quality and Factory Performance & Reliability requirements
Manufacturing process/technology from raw/pack materials through to shipping
Plant Key Performance Indicators and what impacts them
Fundamentals of driving customer service
Expectations of our customers
Basics of order fulfillment
Basic understanding of CP planning functions
The Seven Step Strategic Sourcing Process
The role of Procurement in driving Funding the Growth initiatives
Commodity price drivers - impact on cost structures
Negotiation skills
How material quality and service impact plant operations
How to apply analytics and systems to the real-world environment of Supply Chain
Rotations will occur at our Global Supply Chain US North America Plant locations as well as any of our corporate sites for Hill's, Tom's of Maine and Colgate-Palmolive. Financial relocation assistance is provided to candidates. Some rotations may require candidates to work shifts per the manufacturing plant.
Required Qualifications:
Students currently in or entering their senior year of college with a graduation date between August 2022 - May 2023
Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline
Previous internship experience with Colgate Palmolive / Hill´s in Supply Chain
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Ability and willingness to relocate within the US per the rotation program and final job placement
Ability and willingness to work different shifts if required for the rotation or final job placement
Strong project management and interpersonal skills
