This research scientist position offers the exciting opportunity to utilize advanced analytical instrumentation and laboratory management software to enhance global standards and drive impactful research.
Responsibilities:
Provide Analytical support to Product Development teams, Global Technology Centers (GTC’s) and manufacturing sites focusing in the use of Analytical Instrumentation and Laboratory Information Management Software
Perform and report the results of chemical analysis and analytical method validations using Analytical Instrumentation in a cGMP environment.
Use Laboratory Information Management Systems, Statistical Analysis Software, and Reagents Materials Purchasing system
Document and share analytical specific technical learning’s via appropriate oral and written communications including research reports, local and Global Standard Procedures.
Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods. Solve problems and apply troubleshooting to analytical instrumentation.
Required Qualifications:
BS degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 3 years in industrial or pharmaceutical experience. OR MS degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 1 year in industrial or pharmaceutical experience.
1 to 3 years experience in Analytical Instrumentation under cGMP requirements (Separations, Spectroscopy and/or Wet Chemistry techniques).
1 to 3 years experience in Industrial or Pharmaceutical methods development, validation and qualification
Knowledgeable in general laboratory, quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
Knowledge of cGMP requirements (USP, ICH, CFR) for Laboratories operation and Quality Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Display and actively promote teamwork in getting work done.
Provide support to global and local analytical and product development project teams.
Provide expert support in computer applications and instruments troubleshooting (i.e. Elemental analysis, separations, spectroscopy, wet chemistry)
Analyze technical data in order to interpret results, make follow-up recommendations and provide technical direction to others
Innovator who can apply creative technical ideas and review technology from Technology groups.
Must actively promote ideas and make appropriate technical recommendations.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively to diverse audiences through both written reports and oral presentations.
Plans and execute assigned tasks or projects well documented in a timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $91,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
