Main Responsibilities:
- Sterilize and decontaminate instruments and dental supplies.
- Monitor and maintain sterilization processes and equipment quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area.
- Keep accurate logs of spore testing and inventory levels.
- Assist in room breakdown and tray preparation.
- Follow OSHA standards and exposure control plans.
- Communicate issues regarding equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of dental processes preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting, occasional walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Requires reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks, lab coat).
