Job Title: Active Directory Engineer
Location: Addison, TX
Pay Range: $65-68 per hour
<>Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Active Directory Engineer to support, configure, integrate, and optimize Active Directory (AD) environments.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in directory services, authentication, security policies, and cross-platform integrations.
This role requires hands-on experience in Active Directory administration, troubleshooting, and working with various teams to ensure seamless identity and access management (IAM) infrastructure.
<>Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Domain Controllers.
- Perform Active Directory integrations with enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), including authentication protocols such as LDAP, SAML, and OAuth.
- Support AD migrations, upgrades, and consolidations across multiple environments.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for AD infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce security policies, role-based access controls, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory replication, DNS, and authentication issues.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to optimize system performance.
- Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), hybrid identity environments, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and configuration management.
<>Required Skills:- 5 years of experience in Active Directory administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Group Policy Management (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure AD, and IAM solutions.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for AD automation and administration.
- Experience working with authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR), and access controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot replication, authentication, and AD performance issues.
- Familiarity with cloud-based directory services and hybrid AD environments.
