Production Support Engineer (SWIFT / Payments) – Hybrid
Location : Plano, TX (Hybrid )
Duration : 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay Range : $50 - $55 / hr
Job Role :
We are seeking a Production Support Engineer with expertise in SWIFT and payment systems to join our team. This role involves supporting critical global banking applications, ensuring stability, performance, and incident resolution in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2 / L3 application support for global banking and payment systems.
- Monitor and respond to incidents, alerts, and job failures in production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SWIFT, UNIX / Linux, and database-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive problem resolution.
- Execute and manage scheduled infrastructure maintenance activities.
- Work with WebLogic, IIS, and WebSphere MQ to troubleshoot middleware issues.
- Support release deployments and production change tasks.
- Ensure compliance with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITSM, Remedy).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, operations, and development teams .
- Automate tasks and optimize support processes through scripting (Shell, Python, etc.) .
