About the Role :
- The Department of Infectious Disease and Vaccines at a renowned research laboratory is looking for a dedicated contractor to join their team.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and conduct in vitro assays to support the discovery of new anti-viral drugs and vaccines.Responsibilities :
- Develop and perform in vitro assays to evaluate vaccine candidates
- Document and report experimental findings and assay protocols while adhering to laboratory safety requirements
- Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Learn and adapt to new skills and techniques as neededEducation Qualification :
- BA / BS in biology, biochemistry, virology, or related discipline1-2 years of experienceRequired Skills :
- Experience in tissue culture, molecular biology, or in vitro assays
- Strong collaborative skills and attention to detail Preferred Experience andSkills :
- Design, development, and execution of in vitro assays
- Industry experience or MS
- Experience working with RNA or high throughput assay platform
