Position : DevOps Engineer
Duration : 12 months
Location : Tampa, FL
Payrange : $63-67 / hr
About the Role :
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving CI / CD pipelines for both new and existing workflows.
This role requires strong expertise in containerization tools, automation, and source code management while ensuring maintainability and scalability for on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Build, enhance, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for development and deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, including Git, Angular, or other tool-related errors.
Design, develop, and maintain containerized solutions using Docker Desktop, Podman Desktop, and other containerization tools.
Ensure compliance with functional, non-functional, and security requirements.
Collaborate with international and virtual teams to align development efforts with business goals.
Automate manual release and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
Assist in transitioning toward multi-cloud environments while maintaining a fully on-premises infrastructure.
Mentor junior engineers on best practices in CI / CD, DevOps, and containerization.
Required Skills :
Proficiency with Docker Desktop and Podman Desktop.
Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitLab (exposure to Jira and JFrog is a plus).
Strong expertise in source code management tools like Git or Bitbucket.
Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
Understanding of on-premises infrastructure with exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with Atlassian suite tools.
Knowledge of build tools and processes such as Nuget, MS Build, or similar.
Exposure to Splunk for monitoring and logging.
Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Unix / Linux shell scripting.
Experience with error troubleshooting in development pipelines (e.g., Git or Angular issues).
Strong grasp of Agile software delivery methodologies.
