Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of QA to lead our client's Quality Assurance team and drive excellence in product delivery. As a critical member of their engineering organization, you will define and implement a robust QA strategy that ensures the highest quality standards across our client's products while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA team.
- Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

QA Strategy
- Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and metrics.
- Drive the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Test Planning and Execution
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test cases and test plans.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, performance, security, and compatibility testing.
- Manage and optimize test environments and infrastructure.
Defect Management
- Establish efficient defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and address root causes of defects.
- Ensure the timely and effective resolution of defects.
Automation
- Promote and implement test automation frameworks and tools.
- Drive the automation of test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Collaboration
- Partner with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to understand and address stakeholder needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Director of QA or similar leadership role in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Experience in the ad-tech or digital advertising industry.
- Deep knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, as well as QA best practices.
- Strong technical expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of API testing and security testing methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
