Contract : Irving, Texas, US

Salary Range : 20.00 - 22.00 | Per Hour

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform manual routine inspections using hand tools such as calipers, gauges (ring, pin, thread, height), rulers, and visual inspections to assess inbound materials.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • May operate upper-level instrumentation for precision measurement.
  • Operate advanced upper-level instrumentation such as :
  • 3D / 2D Digital Measuring Projector
  • Optical Testing and Visualization Instruments (e.g., Optical Gaging Product (OGP), Keyence IM)
  • Perform inspections on printed materials including primary and secondary labeling, manuals, print inserts, and CDs.

    • General Responsibilities :

  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and ensure compliance with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards - ASME Y14.5.
  • Utilize sampling techniques to determine material compliance and assist in making quality decisions.
  • Operate and maintain various inspection and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO, FDA, and industry-specific quality standards.

    • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education : Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience : 2-3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
  • Required Skills :
  • Strong GD&T background
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with sampling techniques for quality inspections.
  • ERP system proficiency for data collection and reporting.
  • Preferred Experience :
  • Medical device manufacturing quality inspection.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610-A standards.

    • Pay Range : $20 / hr. - $22 / hr.
