Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Market Analyst III to join our i-STAT Division. This role will be critical in providing strategic insights and market analysis to support the division’s ongoing success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Sizing Estimates and Projections: Develop comprehensive market sizing estimates and projections that will guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Competitive Analysis and Market Share Monitoring: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to track market share, identify key competitors, and assess their strengths and weaknesses.
- Industry Trend and Technology Monitoring: Stay informed on the latest industry trends and technological advancements to provide actionable insights that inform business strategies.
- Product Sales Performance Assessment: Analyze cartridge sales performance across different care settings, including patient reach, to identify opportunities for growth and product improvement.
- Data Modeling and Analytical Tools: Design and execute data models and analytical tools to support the generation of insights from scarce data, ensuring the timely delivery of estimates for executive presentations and ad hoc requests.
- In-depth Market Analysis: Perform thorough analysis of market size, growth, and share at country, region, and product levels. Develop insights on key market trends and make recommendations based on well-thought-out rationale for assumptions.
- Sales Reporting and Analytics: Own the sales reporting process within the Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) team. Run monthly/quarterly reports and ad hoc analyses using Power BI, Financial Reports, IQVIA Market Data, and more. Build dashboards and tools for team use.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that encourages all team members to contribute fully to organizational goals. Ensure strategic objectives remain a priority in decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, marketing, mathematics, data science, statistics, or related fields.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in data mining, forecasting, finance, or analytics, with a proven ability to work with large data sets, integrate data from various sources, and build models/reports from scratch.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to extract insights from data, synthesize key information, and effectively summarize findings for diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (comfortable building complex formulas) and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization tools and the ability to apply them in basic routine situations.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within assigned responsibilities under general supervision.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven, multi-cultural environment with a sense of urgency and flexibility. Strong teamwork skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools for data visualization.
- Familiarity with IQVIA Market Size and Share data.
