Day to Day Responsbilities :
They're the quarterback on file.
The loan officer maintains direct contact with the customer, guiding them through the initial stages of the loan process. After originating the loan, the officer hands it over to the operations team.
The loan processor then takes charge, carefully reviewing the file and submitting it to underwriting.
Once the loan receives approval, the processor reaches out to the borrower to discuss any conditions that must be met before closing.They work closely with the customer to ensure all requirements are fulfilled, ultimately facilitating a smooth transition to the closing table.
